Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the following contractual post in the project entitled “an open-label, non-randomized, two-stage, dose-finding study of verapamil [ir] tablet formulation in adult tuberculosis patients in continuation phase of anti-tuberculosis treatment (Short Title: Verapamil Dose-Finding Patients with Tuberculosis Study in Adult) as per details given below. Selection process will be through interview and verification of testimonials. Duration of the project will be 6 months only.

Essential qualification

MBBS Degree recognized by MCI and registered in the respective Council.

Desirable qualification

Diploma / Certificate course in clinical research or Master’s degree in public health.

Experience in conducting or coordinating epidemiology field studies.

Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools /                 data management and familiar with mobile applications.

Knowledge of  Hindi

Age limit

Not exceeding 35 years. Age relaxation as per GOI rules

Emoluments

Consolidated salary Rs.55,913/- + HRA Rs.7,875/-p.m.

Nature of duties

To assist in the above mentioned study.  Duties will involve screening patients for recruitment to Verapamil study, clinical management, tracking study participants, maintenance of clinical records, sample collection and transport to NIRT, Chennai by courier.

Duties will also involve travel within and  the city.

UptoSix months (6 months)

 i.    This engagement is purely contractual and co-terminable with the project.

ii.    The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment.

iii.    No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.

iv.    Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee for selection.

v.    Crucial date for determining age limit will be the date of selection .

vi.    The engagement will be governed by the standard terms and conditions as per the Institute rules applicable from time to time.
